Pretoria based band Architecture of Aggression will be launching their new album “Acts of God – 4000 years of Phallusy” at the Full Moon Alternative Lounge on the 26th February 2010.
Well known for their outspokenness on religion, with the launch of their new album “Acts of God”, A.O.A have taken the fury of their assault to a new level. Without a doubt their greatest musical achievement, the album is aggressive, progressive, extremely technical and as controversial as only the truth of monotheism can be. Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all torn asunder by their own hypocrisy, bigotry and history in this most epic concept album.
“Acts of God”, is Architecture of Aggressions sixth release to date. The album was released for free online on the 25th December 2009, a date that has been used since ancient times as a day of celebration. The album will continue to be available for free download online, once again giving the middle finger to the powers that be and allowing their art and message to be accessed worldwide, reaching a larger audience than through more conventional channels.
A totally independent release, the recording itself achieves a new sound- avoiding the typical overproduced approach popular in metal today, all you hear is precisely as it was played.

Welcome to a world of Memes, Dreams, Fantasy, Fallacy and Myth
A world where Ideas are Contagious and Religion spreads Like a Virus;
A world of Talking Snakes, Burning Bushes, Immaculate Conceptions, Undead
Messiahs, Flying Horses, Angels, Demons, Djinns and Gods
A world where the rule of law is still Influenced by Stone Age Superstition,
Where 4000 year old Ideas of Morality still hold sway over Our everyday life.
This is the World you are living in, Open your Eyes
It IS Insane, Stop the madness!
It is time for us, as a Species to Grow Up
Let go of these Superstitions, stop forcing them down on our Children,
Let the age of Enlightenment Begin.
Ushering in an era free of the Tyranny of Mysticism and the Oppression of Religion!
